Conclusion
There are a plethora of tools available to teachers for use in online teaching and student assessment. However with limited resources and time to explore the tools, teachers may be left to rely on “old stand bys” in their efforts to conduct student assessment.
It is our hope that the Team Grover Assessment Toolbox (as well as those created by other Teams) will provide teachers with a snap shot of how different tools might meet their assessment needs as well as a jump start to incorporate new assessment tools into their course. In this way teachers can place “old stand bys” on the shelf and provide richer and more meaningful assessments of student achievement.
The members of Team Grover (Erik Benton, José Salas, and Debbie Kane) thank you for this opportunity to share these tools with you.
